Program and Contents 
The Union Customs Code, in force as from the 1st May 2016, brings along substantive changes in some core areas of the EU customs legislation and, as a consequence, it has an impact on imports into the EU.

  • Attendees to the seminar will have an insight about:
  • the major changes in the EU non–preferential origin determination and its relationship with the “Made in…” country of origin marking legislation;
  • the new provisions concerning customs valuation also in relation with transfer pricing;
  • the challenges of requesting advance rulings for customs tariff and origin purposes and the possibility of obtaining a decision on all customs matters;
  • leveraging the practical advantages of the application of EU law principles to customs law.
